Distances: Please note that distances are
approximate and vary with speed, terrain, and weight of the
rider. Approximate distances are based on an average of 18
km/h.
Bikes Requirements: None of our Electric
Bikes require a licence, insurance, registration, and are
street legal. All Kaishan built electric bikes are compliant
with Sect. 2(1) of the CMVSA as Power Assisted Bicycles. All
of our electric bikes are street legal in the United States
without a licence or registration under current bicycle laws
(US PL107-319) and are compliant with CPSC regulations. Please
consult your provincial or local department of motor
vehicles as local regulations may vary.
Quick Facts:
• All electric bikes come with folding pedals for easy
storage.
• Kaishan Electric Bikes are manufactured for us by the
largest maker of electric bikes in China which is partially
owned by the Chinese Government. This allows them access to
all the latest technology. All vehicles are tested by the
Chinese Development Institute.
• All electric bikes come with Electric Assist Rear Brakes
(EARB).
